A friend of Momentum in Missions recently lost her husband, who bravely fought against cancer. The family selected Momentum in Missions to receive part of the memorial donations given at his funeral. With the contributions made in Doug's memory, along with a few additional gifts, we were able to buy a new motorcycle for a pastor in West Africa. By honoring their loved one in this meaningful way, the family, who has a deep passion for sharing the Gospel, knew they could create a lasting impact with this gift.
Pastor C, chosen to receive this motorcycle, was completely astonished by the gift! Numerous pastors are still awaiting the gift of mobility, as many continue to travel on foot in the remote bush areas where we are establishing churches. Pastor C is part of a greater team of church planters.
At present, there are THREE villages nearby that are eagerly awaiting Pastor C's church planting, and we strive to maintain the enthusiasm of these villagers who are excited about having a church in their village. It's not only pastors lacking transportation; nearly everyone in these remote villages faces this issue. They don't have the convenience of driving to a nearby church. Without a church in their own village, attending elsewhere is impossible. Providing a pastor with transportation allows him to travel to various villages and facilitate church planting more effectively. And thereby, providing the opportunity for entire communities to attend church, grow in their faith, and worship God. This is why Momentum in Missions places priority on providing motorcyles to the pastors we partner with. We're thanking God, who continues to provide! The motorcycle for Pastor C was the 15th bike provided by MiM!
Momentum in Missions expresses sincere gratitude to the Doug and Judy Fedderke family, and others, for this gift!
